Marketing, Design, and Leadership Skills
My key skills are across marketing, design and leadership—with extensive experience as a marketing manager, a designer and developer, and managing teams.
I have generalist marketing experience across everything from acquisition, to loyalty and engagement, and retention.
Plus, product management, digital marketing, social, content marketing, events, website management experience and more.
Products and services that I have marketed include; an entertainment and collecting platform and app, SaaS corporate solutions (business intelligence, investor relations, board & governance and multimedia solutions), SaaS products, apps, entertainment offers and partnerships, dining offers, personal loans, credit cards, banking products, offers and loyalty, retail electronics, and payroll and HR solutions.
In marketing roles I have created GTM marketing strategies, managed campaigns across all channels end-to-end, and managed, rebranded and launched brands and products in the APAC region. I have been responsible for marketing strategies and campaign execution across all channels BTL and ATL plus partnerships and more.
Brand Management
I possess extensive brand development, management and marketing experience. I have designed and launched brands, developing the brand identity and brand positioning for VeVe, Employment Hero, Harmoney, Supr, and Splendrous.
I have grown brand awareness and brand loyalty, and been responsible for the GTM strategy of brand launches for VeVe, Employment Hero, Harmoney, Supr and Splendrous.
I have managed rebrands for Harmoney, Nasdaq, and Thomson Reuters. I have also been the brand guardian and created brand guidelines in multiple roles, and been a brand ambassador at Thomson Reuters.
Additionally, I have managed many brand campaigns for all of my roles including at American Express such as; Vivid Sydney, Vogue American Express Shopping Night Out, American Express Openair Cinema, and Shop Small and more.
Ten Years Leadership Experience
I have over 10 years leaders leadership experience and have a Certificate in Leadership Excellence from Harvard Business School. I have led small teams in many of my marketing roles.
My leadership style is mostly a mix of coaching and supporting styles, but occasionally I use delegation and directing leadership styles if required.
I have managed marketing interns, marketing coordinators, marketing managers, graphic designers, digital specialists, customer service specialists, a developer, teams of external developers, plus external agencies and partners.
I have experience managing remote global teams and international marketing, managing marketing and teams in the APAC region and managing marketing nationally in Australia and in New Zealand. I am currently the Head of Growth Marketing at VeVe leading an international team of a lifecycle marketing lead, partner marketing manager and CRM specialist.
Global Marketing
In my current role at VeVe as the Head of Growth Marketing involves leading a team of three (previously five) and international marketing with a focus on North America (USA & Canada). At Employment Hero, as Senior Marketing Manager I managed the B2C marketing in Australia and a team of three. At Harmoney, as Senior Marketing Manager I managed the marketing for New Zealand and Australia and indirectly managed a team of two in the marketing team. At American Express, as Marketing Manager I managed the marketing in Australia for bank partners that issued Amex cards and also managed the Amex Offers Amex Connect website, Amex Connect marketing campaigns and merchant fulfilled Amex Offers program and I led a team of two. And, at Samsung I was the Manager, Digital for New Zealand managing a team of two and all things digital for the business—ecommerce store, website, social media and digital advertising.
At Nasdaq, Thomson Reuters, and Thomson Financial as the Marketing Manager APAC I led marketing coordinators and interns and was responsible for managing the B2B product marketing for the Asia Pacific region for over 8 years (and through two company acquisitions) in Australia, New Zealand, Singapore, South Korea, Japan, & Hong Kong. I marketed Corporate Solutions products and services in the Asia Pacific region; investor relations solutions, SaaS business intelligence solutions, SaaS board and governance solutions and multimedia solutions.
Qualifications
I have multiple qualifications in design, marketing, business management, and leadership – including a Bachelor of Design (Visual Communication) at CPIT (renamed Ara), a Diploma of Marketing and Communication, a Fundamentals in Digital Marketing Certificate, a Graduate Certificate in Multimedia Design and a Certificate in Leadership Excellence from Harvard Business School to name a few. Plus, I have completed many short courses in marketing, AI, business management, Agile and more.

Design
Before my marketing career I was a graphic designer and then an interactive designer and developer. I have many years design experience. I have also owned my own design businesses.
I have a Bachelor of Design (Visual Communication) and was responsible for marketing and design at Nasdaq, Thomson Reuters and Thomson Financial for over 8.5 years. I would create the marketing strategy, write copy, and design for digital or print and do the reporting end-to-end.
I have created marketing campaigns using Canva in multiple roles, and wireframes and mockups using Figma in my last three roles at VeVe, Employment Hero and Harmoney.
In most of my marketing roles I have briefed in either internal design teams or managed and briefed in external creative and PR agencies using my design mockups including; Ogilvy, Lavender, Alt, Publicis, Marcel, Vivaki, Sprinklr, Launchlink, Kaimera and more.
Writing
I have extensive copywriting and communications experience and have written for all formats across digital, OOH, TV, radio and print for over 18 years.
I have written for; emails, case studies, white papers, print ads, digital ads (Google Ads, Meta Ads, Bing Ads), social media, TV ads, radio ads, direct mail, product brochures, apps, product platforms, SEO optimised copy for websites, SEO optimised copy for blogs, annual reports, PR releases and more. Examples of my writing are all over this website including the portfolio pages.
As a side hustle under my Supr business, I was a freelance journalist writing feature stories and advertorials for Waterford Press in New Zealand—for multiple business and farming magazines; Business South, Business Central, Business North, Business Rural South, Rural North, NZ Dairy and more.

I offer a unique blend of strategic leadership, global stakeholder management, and hands-on campaign management skills. I have worked for many large global organisations and possess excellent stakeholder management experience working in a complex matrix environment with people across multiple job role types, teams and countries including; marketing, digital, brand, legal, product, sales, SME’s, commercial managers, customer service and many more.
