Design Experience

I have many years design experience including as a graphic designer, interactive designer, web designer and app designer. I’ve been a managing director in my own businesses at Supr (2025), Splendrous (2020 – 2025) and previously at Nic Moore Design.

I started my professional career as a graphic designer and founder at Nic Moore Design. Next I was an interactive designer and developer (at Sunshine Multimedia, The learning Group and Cadre Design) designing and building digital training and educational courses and interactive games at interactive companies in New Zealand and Australia. Then I became a marketing coordinator and designer at Thomson Financial in 2007, starting my marketing career, and continuing as a designer and marketing manager at Thomson Reuters and Nasdaq.

After Nasdaq at Samsung I managed the in-house graphic designer, digital specialist and creative agencies for creative.

Since Samsung I have managed agencies and internal design teams for creative for marketing campaigns, and have also designed website pages, email campaigns, and graphics using Canva and Photoshop.

Digital Design

I have created graphics for ads, websites, email campaigns and more using Canva and the Adobe Creative Suite at VeVe, Employment Hero, American Express, Nasdaq, Thomson Reuters, Cadre Design and The Learning Group.

iOS App Design

In 2020 I founded my own app design business Splendrous where I was the only employee working multiple roles; Managing Director, Design Director & Developer and Founder. I designed and built five iOS iMessage apps end-to-end myself; Love from, Ozzie Slang, Kiwi Slang, Christmas Greetings and All Talk. I also designed the Splendrous website (WordPress) and all content for social media (Canva).

#1 in The App Store

Three of my Splendrous apps made it to #1 in the Apple App Store. Kiwi Slang and Christmas Greetings both made it to #1 in the New Zealand and Australian Apple App Stores in December 2021, and Strayan Slang (now called Ozzie Slang) also made it to #1 in the Australian Apple App Store in March 2024.

I designed my Supr brand and website, all of my Splendrous products (apps and merchandise) and have also designed all marketing on social channels using Canva and Photoshop. I have extensive experience designing marketing emails, social media posts, paid ads and more.
